Legal Desk is looking for a full-stack developer

Do you want to help us automate the legal business? Legal Desk is looking for a full-time intermediate full-stack developer with a passion for developing the platform of tomorrow's legal services. Legal Desk: New thinking and a great place to work

Legal Desk is Denmark’s leading provider of automated legal services online and we are experiencing rapid growth. In the last couple of years, we have more than doubled in size in terms of employees and tripled in revenue.

Our team currently consists of 50 dedicated people that all share the nerdy obsession of automating legal processes through our platform. With more than 230.000 registered users, the platform is undergoing continuous changes and improvements and we are always developing new legal services. This is why we are seeking for a full-stack developer to join our dev team.

If you are not currently located in Denmark that is no problem. While we will want you eventually to relocate to Denmark, you can start off remotely so that you can get to know the company and your colleagues better before moving.

The team and your responsibilities

Our platform is undergoing continuous improvements and we are constantly developing new legal services. You will be part of a tech-team with a technical lead, three senior full-stack developer and two frontend developers, all of which are working on developing new features and services on the platform. You will be responsible for developing and testing new features, as well as various integrations with third party systems and API’s. 

Your profile

We are looking for an ambitious and driven full-stack developer with a passion for developing web apps. Ideally you have the following background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related fields
  • Three years experience in software development

Need-to-have a high level of experience in:

  • Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, Dependency Injection
  • Frontend: Typescript, VUE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Nice-to-have experience in:

  • Asp.NET MVC (standard .net)
  • Umbraco CMS
  • Ucommerce - eCommerce platform
  • Experience in developing Azure functions, webjobs
  • SignalR
  • KnockoutJS

Other skills

  • Experience with object-oriented analysis, design and programming
  • Clean code style: Understanding what makes good code architectural design
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  • Ability to adapt and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs
  • Azure DevOps and GIT
  • Experience of working in an agile SCRUM
  • Critical mind and strive for a perfect solution
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English

We offer flexible working hours to accommodate your personal schedule and commitments. We have a core time between 10:00-15:00, during which your presence in the office is required. Outside of this core time, you have the flexibility to determine the remaining hours in your work week. At our company, we place great faith in the impact of a physical workspace. We work from our office at Islands Brygge, Copenhagen, only a 5-minute walk from public transport.
